We'll meet at the H Street Trolley Station in Chula Vista (745 H Street - exit H Street from the 5 fwy - trolley station is just east of the freeway). Please arrive at 7:30am promptly. Free parking is available. We will depart by 7:45am & arrive at the orphanage by 9:15 am.
DOFO is located in La Mision about 50 minutes south of the border using the toll road.
We ask that each passenger contribute $15.00 to your driver to cover fuel, insurance, & tolls. Drivers, please arrive with plenty of fuel, Mexican auto insurance (purchase for the day at www.discoverbaja.com), & cash to pay the tolls. Drivers are responsible for their passengers' contributions.
We expect to wrap up at the orphanage around 3 pm. Groups may decide to explore Baja afterwards and perhaps get dinner together. The border wait to return to the U.S. is unpredictable so it is highly advised that you do not make firm plans for later that day.
